Be the Nehemiah of TWR HK Programs
Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem. (Nehemiah 2:17)
The mission of Trans World Radio Hong Kong is to assist the Church to make disciples of ALL Chinese peoples in fulfilling the command of Jesus Christ, and to do so by using and making available mass media to proclaim the gospel of salvation to as many Chinese people as possible, to instruct believers in biblical doctrine and daily Christ-like living, and to equip believers to be leaders in the Kingdom of God.
TWR does not build churches on its own, but insists on assisting the church to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). Our target group remains the same, it is the Chinese worldwide, of which the largest population inhabit in mainland China where the majority people group belongs to Han and the ethnic minority groups number at fifty five. Our means and mission works also remain the same, it is using mass media to reach out to the non-believers to proclaim the gospel to them (Evangelize), and then to nurture them as believers (Edify), and finally to equip them to become servants of God (Equip).
Our programs are produced around these three Es, and broadcast through different platforms including the shortwave transmitters in Guam station www.ktwr.org , the TWR HK website www.radio2care.net , and the WeChat Official Account 「凭祢意行」(Acting According to Your Will).
Over the years, challenges of the broadcast platforms have never ceased, and so have the tests and trials in program production. In the difficult years to come, the programs we are preparing for broadcast will continue to adhere to the three E directions, with target audience group already identified. We only wait for production talents who have the calling to join our team. Is it you? If yes, please come and help us!
We set out by faith to rebuild the city walls of our program production. Apart from vision and mission, we still only have vision and mission. We rely on the Lord for all supply, whether in financial or human resources.
May the Lord move you to become the Nehemiah of TWR HK’s programs.
