Courage

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

What is required of a worker is that he needs to have skills, vision and calling, and courage in this time and age.

It goes without saying that a worker should have corresponding skills. To engage in mission work, he also needs vision and calling, or vision and passion as called in the marketplace, if not, it is just robotic operation like body without soul. These two requirements apply to all kinds of work across time and space, and in addition to them, one is specific to a time of extraordinary change, it is courage.

Writer Mary Anne Radmacher says, “Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’ ” Perhaps it can tell the less known side of courage -- deep and restrained, unremitting and never give up.

Trans World Radio Hong Kong needs workers, in all types of work in all departments. All kinds of co-work and cooperation, volunteers and coworkers, will be considered. If you have skills, vision and calling, and courage, please contact us, and may the Lord bless you, amen!
